Review Grüne Woche in Berlin, Germany
For the third time, AEF has participated in the “Grüne Woche” fair in Berlin, Germany, from January 17-26, 2025.
This year, the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau) organized the joint industry stand, featuring nine companies and organizations. The booth was themed “Tilling the Future – Balancing Economy and Ecology.” Main conversations were focused on the future of agriculture and the role of agricultural machinery in addressing pressing issues such as sustainability in plant production, digitalization of processes as well as sustainable fuels and battery-electric solutions.
Politicians from the German Federal and State government, as well as from the European Union visited the booth for presentations and discussions. Just a selection: Christophe Hansen (European Commissioner for Agriculture and Food), Cem Özdemir (Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture), Dr. Till Backhaus (Minister for Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas and the Environment - Mecklenburg-Vorpommern).
AEF’s focused on the Agricultural Interoperability Network (AgIN) which facilitates the seamless sharing of agricultural data among OEMs, Data Hubs, and FMIS solutions, allowing participants to establish direct connections for their users. The most important use cases include
the sharing of machine data, work orders and work records.
