Ag on the MallThe Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF) exhibited at the "Celebration of Modern Agriculture on the National Mall" event in Washington D.C., March 21 – 22 as part of National Agriculture Day festivities. The event, organized by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), highlighted tech innovators in modern agriculture, allowing an opportunity for policymakers to gain a deeper understanding of the role the agriculture industry is playing towards a more sustainable world... ASABE/ AETCLast month on February 12-14 the AEF was a sponsor of the Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference (AETC) 2022. This annual event is hosted every February by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) in Louisville Kentucky during the same week as The National Farm Machinery Show... Common project AgGateway and AEF: Data LinkIn March 2021, AgGateway and the AEF signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on initiatives to increase the seamless exchange of information in farm operations, supporting the goals of growers in managing and using farm data... UT3 - Looking for member support in Acceptance TestingThe AEF Project Team Universal Terminal UT3 is currently working on the development of the next generation of the UT Conformance Test. This new generation will contain a new application, performing automated graphical tests, as well as new ISOBUS protocol test units, using the Vector toolchain (CANoe). It’s not only the new application and toolchain, but the team also aim at new quality and traceability approaches... Second High Speed ISOBUS guideline published as Released International Guideline (RIG)A subgroup of physical layer experts from the High Speed ISOBUS team (HSI) created AEF RIG 042 “High Speed Implement Bus – Physical layer – PHY and MDI”. This guideline defines the specifications of the standardized High Speed ISOBUS physical layer and media dependent interface internal to an ECU, switch, repeater, or other HSI device.
